Every trading system works... until the moment it doesn't. This system measures where that moment lies in both price and time.
Trading systems hunt patterns in price movement. This hunts patterns in price absence. Geometric voids. Places where price—literally—cannot exist until catastrophic resolution occurs.
Others sense danger as they reach for proxies for their newsletter: "Q4 volatility," "Calendar risk," or "Uncertain macro environment."
The Fold Line marks the point where a sudden and catastrophic "belief collapse" is most likely to occur, causing seemingly disciplined traders to collectively lose their composure, panic, and abruptly abandon their positions, their discipline, and their strategies simultaneously.
Sure, markets bounce back. But blown-out accounts don't.
Traditional systems smooth over noise. This hunts it. Whipsaws others filter become signal—moments when prices approach shifts that bypass the typical, gradual transition phase entirely.
These aren't patterns in the data. They're patterns of missing data: Limit cycles. Circular absences. These tools allow you to see the hollow, geometric price-prisons building pressure… until violent release.
Parameter-free math. Models unchanged for 25+ years. Scale-invariant. Effective across market prices. No optimization. No overfitting. No regime decay. I know these patterns of behavior better than you know your own kid.
This comes together just as mean-variance falls apart.
